New Kosol Group of Companies is a multi-disciplinary consultancy and technical support organization specializing in the economy’s agriculture and rural development segments. Incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, in 2007 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, the Group has since been providing broad-based consultancy services with such subsidiaries as New KOSOL Integrated Recourses, New KOSOL Properties Limited and PASAJ Protections each operating separately with traceable positive records.

The Group’s corporate headquarters is located in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.

Of late, the Group saw the need to diversify into large-scale grassroots-level project implementation under watershed development, livelihood promotions, organic farming, agriculture extension services, retail micro-finance operations, training and capacity building amongst others. This led to the addition of the New KOSOL Cooperative Society to the Group’s list of subsidiaries, which has since become both the mainstay and future of the Group’s operations over the years with incredible prospects for expansion and growth.

Since then, the New Kosol Group of Companies has taken several initiatives toward sustainable development of its clients and the agronomic sector and has emerged as a leading organization working with farmers/producers across several states in Nigeria viz. the Federal Capital Territory, Niger, Adamawa, Nasarawa Benue and still counting.

It has achieved such geometrical growth in terms of membership and productivity that as of October 2022; the New Kosol Group has grown into a verifiable membership strength of over eleven thousand (11,000) with membership drawn across farmers/producers and other key players in the agro-allied value chain all dedicated to helping themselves as well as helping the Group achieve its goals.

At the New Kosol Group, we offer a unique range of products with a focus on the Agricultural value chain. Our agriculture-sector expertise and well-entrenched distribution network help in delivering value to our customers by providing them with much-needed capital for business growth. We understand the credit requirements of the agriculture segment and therefore offer customized financing solutions to our customers in an otherwise unorganized and unstructured market.

Our initiatives are tailored and aimed at building an empowered and financially inclusive farming and agricultural value chain sector of the nation’s economy. We are pioneers in the field of watershed development as a tool for sustainable agronomics. Ours is a long list, and we welcome you to understand us better.

ALFRED MADAKAPWA

CO-FOUNDER/PRESIDENT ✪ KOSOL GROUP

Alfred Madakapwa is a dynamic, hardworking, and highly Intellectual individual with verifiable results evidenced in Academic Excellence, philanthropy, and Business Development.
Alfred is also a vibrant academician who has obtained several degrees in various fields of endeavour both home and abroad. He is certified in Computer Science and Statistics by Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Economics by University of Abuja, Electrical Engineering by University of South Africa and Management Information System (PGD) by Kaduna State University.
He has gained over 15 years’ experience providing IT and business Development Solutions in both the Banking and IT industries in Nigeria. He served as Systems Administrator for Zenith Bank Nigeria for 9 years and later moved to head the Technical Support team of Pure Technical Services; a partner company with the FRSC responsible for providing full Technical Support for the FRSC Drivers Licence Project Nationwide.
Alfred is Trustworthy; He has managed the New Kosol Project from inception to date and has been able to earn the trust and confidence of contributors, investors and even borrowers over the years.
He is dogged, diplomatic, and people/result oriented. His experience and personal attributes combine to make him rounded and capable of presiding over the affairs of New Kosol Group.

 

 

ATOO SOLOMON TERNGU

CO-FOUNDER/MANAGING DIRECTOR ✪ KOSOL GROUP 

Solomon Atoo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the prestigious university of Abuja and has also obtained a post graduate diploma in financial studies. He is also a certified security expert.

Nearly two decades spent serving in one of Nigeria’s leading new generation banks, Zenith Bank Nigeria, has more than prepared him to soar in his position as the Managing Director, New Kosol Group.  He is versed in the art of credit writing, credit analysis, loan recovery and a whole range of banking services.

Mr Atoo is also a director in PASAJ Protection Limited, an industrial security outfit that specializes in security consultancy, surveillance system, fire alarm systems, manned guarding, communication systems, training and accessories.

 

ALFRED BLESSING ZIDON

ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER

Blessing is the administrative manager of New Kosol Group. With Over 8 years in the field of administration, she has proven her worth.

She is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Group and also coordinates human resource activities. Before she joined New Kosol Group, Blessing worked in the Human resource Department of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

Blessing holds two Degrees, one in Business Administration and another in Public Administration from the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa.  She is also an experienced Human Resource and Administrative Manager. Her zeal for education and entrepreneurship recently lead her back to the classroom to further her Education in Entrepreneurship and Business Development.

 

MARIAM MBACHA

GROUP COMPANY ADVISER

Mariam has over 10 years of experience providing Professional Communication and business management advice to various organizations. She also led teams that produced well-researched/trusted TV and Radio content for various international Organizations like the BBC World Service Trust, Paths to Health etc.

Mariam also has Professional Training in Human Resource Management, Office Administration, Communications and Project Management. She has great verbal and written communication skills

As the Group Company Adviser, she ensures that the group complies with global best practices and maintains high standards of corporate governance.

 

ABUBAKAR MOHAMMED ADAMU

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Abubakar is a graduate of Information and Communication Technology from the Federal University of technology Yola, Adamawa state. He has an MSc. in Information technology from the prestigious National Open University, Nigeria.

Abubakar Mohammed Adamu is an amiable personality with great entrepreneurial and leadership skills. As a member of the Nigeria Computer Society, he served as the National Secretary of National Association of Computer science students (NACOSS), Vice president Information and Communication technology Students (FUTY Chapter) and Chapter President National Association of Computer science students (NACOSS).  

Abubakar has a wide range of experience in ICT having served in the IT Operations department of one of the foremost New Generation Banks in Nigeria and E- Network Solutions, a renowned ICT firm based in Lagos.

He most recently served as Regional Support Engineer North Central with Pure Technical Services Limited, a consulting company to Federal Road Safety Corps.

Abubakar is responsible for overseeing service provision and delivery.  He also researches new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency within the origination and manage quality assurance

His hobbies are footballing, Travelling and Reading. He is happily married with children.

 

JOHN SUNDAY LUKA

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Mr. John S. Luka, Bsc, CNA, SCILRM, a seasoned and dynamic Professional Accountant of high regard, is a team player with vast experience in both the private and public sector for over two decades. He is a Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management and a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.  He is a graduate of Business Management with a specialty in Banking and Finance from the prestigious University of Maiduguri in 1997 with a B.sc. After his National Youth Service, he joined Proter and Gamble in 1998 where he served as a storekeeper, Warehouse Manager, Distributor’s Accountant, and Distributor’s Account Manager (East).

He later moved to Multi-Tech Oil  Field Services Company where he started as a manager and grew to become the General Manager in 2001-2004.

He worked as a consultant to many oil field companies among which are Joseph StoreHouse Nigeria Limited, Multi-Tech Dynamics Ltd, H, G, and D Nigeria Limited.

He joined the Public Sector as a Revenue Consultant with Federal Capital Territory Authority.

Mr. Luka is an achiever who never takes ‘NO’ for an answer and loves working under pressure with zero supervision. He loves teamwork.

 

ONUNDI SIJIBOMI MIKE

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Mr. Onundi S. Mike, HND, PGD, MBA in view, is an astute enterprising financial analyst with great regards, and he is an active and key team player with broad experience in his area of specialization over the years.  He is both a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Banker (Chartered) and a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) respectively.

He is a graduate of Business Administration and Management from the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger state in 2008 with a Higher National Diploma. After his national youth service in 2009, he moved further to Nasarawa State University Keffi where he bagged a PGD in Business Administration and Management.

Due to his quest for more knowledge, he proceeded to Frankford School of Business and acquired practical knowledge on SME Lending Advanced Cross-Checking Techniques in 2016.

Just like Oliver Twist who wanted more, Mr. Onundi Mike is currently undergoing his MBA in Business Administration and Management, in the prestigious Nasarawa State University, Keffi. 

He has worked with SIMARK Nigeria LTD as a Manager afterwards he moved to FORTIS Microfinance Bank and worked as a Relationship Manager, a Team Leader, and a Business Manager.

In 2018, He joined SLS Microfinance Bank and worked in the capacity as Head, Business Development.

He is a great facilitator with so much zeal and enthusiasm who is always ready to impact knowledge whenever needed.  

Mr. Onundi Mike is goal-oriented and an Achiever per excellence who believes in diligence and integrity.
